Topic: hdsp 9632 - which new chipset?

Hi guys, i'd like to buy new computer to my hdsp 9632 card. Can someone tell me which chipset is best to work with my card. I was thinking about intelx99. I also would like to check list of required chipset to avoid any problems during working.

The x99 has no support for pci cards. Only some boards with the intel z87 and z77 support pci.

I  found out that z77 z87 doesn't support pci. It ony works via pci-e  to pci bridge which i want to avoid.

For a card with limited channel count like the 9632, this should not be a problem in terms of performance. If at all, problems might occur e.g. with the PCI MADI card.

Does it mean I can use any chipset i want on motherboard with PCI slot??

I use the 9632 on a z77 board no problem at all.
