Topic: Totalmixfx and speakers calibration

Hello
I am running ucx with totalmixfx with 5.1 dynaudio speakers. Such speakers do not have physical volume trim so I am obliged to use totalmixfx to calibrate my system.
However I am a loss to understand how I can change the level of each physical outputs of the ucx espacially when using one stereo output as "main output" in control room section (I then cannot change left and right output level separetly).
Thank you in advance
Best
Simon

Any tip?
Thank you,

Re: Totalmixfx and speakers calibration

Use "fader groups" in TotalMix to connect the other output channels to the Main out fader.

Re: Totalmixfx and speakers calibration

Thanks Jeff but i already did. I can change the output level of center, sub, les and Rs but when I assigned L and R to the main output in control room section, I cannot change separately tr output level of such l and r outputs (I can only change l and r together since they are linked).

Re: Totalmixfx and speakers calibration

There is a Pan pot (knob). For the stereo main LR speakers it does exactly what you want - lower one or the other level so that it matches the reference one.
