Topic: Audio PC Migration

Hi there,

i need to upgrade my pc and want to get one of those http://www.da-x.de/ but i am using a multiface II with either the express card or an cardbus card.

actually, because of a laptop switch, i use the  express card fo my laptop and on my workstation, i still use an adapter for the cardbus card.

can you recommend any expresscard adapter that works well on win8.1 and this pc: http://www.da-x.de/de/audio-workstation … swell.html ? or any other alternative?

the pcie interface is, in my opinion, very expensive (for a product that old :-) ).

Yes, but under Windows hot plugging TB typically doesn't work. Else it works.
