I have a Multiface II and just upgraded to the expresscard interface from the cardbus that orginally came bundled.  When I first hooked up the new expresscard I used the power supply that came with it thinking "newer is better".  This power supply did not allow the Multiface II to initialize and I got a flashing red LED at power-up.  When I switched back to the power supply that came with the Multiface II all was well.   The power supply says it is rated to 2A but the manual says the Multiface II pulls over 2A on start-up.  Is the power supply that ships with the expresscard undersized for the Multiface II or is a bad supply?
