Topic: hdsp (pci) / multiface II bsod issue

i've started getting an occassional bsod that i haven't seen in a long long while on my setup.

the error code is of the 'irq less or not equal' variety, and happens occasionally on my windows 7 64-bit system when changing the RME's buffer sizes while a 64-bit DAW is open that is using some amount of asio processing load (i am not sure how relevant this is).

what should i be looking for?

Simply said - you shouldn't do that. To change the buffer size processing must be stopped first. Depending on computer and load Cubase can do this on its own, but sometimes it won't work as expected.
