Topic: Total mix 1.08 no monitoring in Cubase

I have install the total mix 1.08 and i see input in Cubase  but no output. So, i can't monitor my microphones. In total mix Windows, i see in/out activity. What's wrong ? Solutions ?

Likewise....
......When I switch from Cubase to TotalMix, Cubase ceases to function and all goes quiet - no software monitoring, indeed no sound at all. If I use the hardware adjustment (very approximate), I can get a signal through to  - and recorded on - Cubase, hearing the existing backing track, but unable to set up a proper monitor mix on TotalMix. As I say; as soon as I open TotalMix, all audio is muted.

I'm guessing that this sort of situation is normally bread-and-butter to the TotalMix system, so what am I doing wrong here?

Sounds like the problem is in Cubase rather than TotalMix.
Check the settings in Cubase.
I think you have Release ASIO in background ticked on.
