Topic: TM/UFX: Lost my TM/workspace settings of all sudden

Hi,

funny thing just happened to me.

I just turned on my PC and UFX and all my TM workspace settings were lost.
This didn't happen since I own the device (>1y).
I didn't change anything on the PC between yesterday and today.
This morning it was still ok, after work and powering-on this simply just happened.

Luckily I could recover the workspace completely by using the saved workspace (.tmws file) in my users
Document Folder under RME->Totalmix subdir.

Any idea how this can happen ? Is this something that must have happened inside of the UFX device ?

Another question, after loading the workspace from the .tmws file all the slots in the "Workspace Quick Select" menue were empty. Usually I have this configuration also saved in the 1st "slot" of Quick select.

Windows 7 SP1 Ultimate.
RME UFX. TM 1.12. USB 357, Fw 343, DSP 159, USB 26

I have no clue what happened, but the files for Workspace Quick select will also be there. Just the reference in the  registry might be gone and has to be redone.

thanks for your reply. Most important is for me that it works again, and that this is not device related.
