Topic: digicheck 4.53 only records 0.5 seconds

no matter where I put the temp files to be stored. using latest FUT (CardBus + RPM), driver 3.056.
sounds familiar? what might be the cause? is there specific minimum space to be left on disk, where temp file is stored?

both Time: and Disk: are at 0:00:00.0. When I click record, Time grows up to 0:00:00.5, then jumps to 0:00:00.0, File jumps to 0:00:00.5 and then recording stops.
That's it - output .wav file is 0.5 seconds long. What other details might help you?

how much space do you have left on the temp-drive?

2 Dandruff: 300 megs, well enough for 30 minutes of CD quality recording. Is there some minimum space requirement, that might be causing this?

ok problem solved - it really was caused by low disk space. freeing up some 350 MB more gave me sensible time estimates.

glad you got it solved. do you have a pagefile on this drive? you might set it to a fixed (min=max) size, so that windows doesn't change the size dynamically (which might reduce the empty space without your knowledge) ...
