Topic: Help needed: Avid Artist Mix with TotalMix FX on Windows 7

I have problems setting up my Avid Artist Mix with TotalMix FX.
Can someone please give me some help?

1st Method:
I selected Mackie control in the Eucon preferences for TotalMixFX with Midi ports 1-4
TotalMix FX is shown in the EuControl panel (3.3.2).
I have Midi control enabled in TMFX
I enabled Mackie Protocol in TMFX
However I cannot select Midi io in the Midi Tab of TMFX. Do I have to? The eucon Midi driver does not show up.

2nd method:
I selected HUI control in Eucon Prefs
TotalMix FX is shown in EuControl Panel
Midi control enabled in TMFX
Mackie Protocol disabled
Eucon Midi driver is selected in TMFX

How can I access the Eucon Preferences without unplugging the HWC and restarting all Eucon Applications?
What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for helping

Georg

Re: Help needed: Avid Artist Mix with TotalMix FX on Windows 7

OK, now I figured it out.
I am using Avid Artist Mix, Windows7 64bit, Eucon 3.3.2

Go to Control panel - Eucon
Add Application name "TotalMix FX"
Protocol MackieControl
Midi Ports 1-4
Select the correct network adapter

Reboot

Make sure Totalmix is shown in the eucontrol application

Settings in Toptalmix FX:
Options-enable Midi Control
Settings-Midi-
Index 1 in use
Midi in/out Euphonix EuMidi1 (If not present reboot a few times and maybe change from Mackie protocol to HUI and back in Eucon control panel)
Mackie control Options - enable

Reboot. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. Still investigating to find a stable setting.
