Topic: Does RME DIGI96 8PAD work with Mac OS X Yosemite or Lion?

I have a used Mac Pro that I'm thinking of using as a slave with my PC equipped with RME 9652. I just need the ADAT ports. MIDI will be set via LAN.

There it says it has driver for OS X but under Core Audio. Don't they have ASIO drivers for Mac OS X? Will it still work fine?

The old DIGI cards only work with Power PC mac and 32 bit Windows computers with PCI slots. Your Mac Pro is Intel based and most likely has no PCI slot. The card will not physically fit and even if it did it is not compatible with your OS.

ASIO is for Windows only, all audio on Mac is handled by CoreAudio.
