We have an intel Mac Pro running Yosemite, and have 2 x fireface 800's connected via firewire.
upon upgrading to Yosemite the fireface's stopped working so we updated to the latest driver and firmware (v2.77 firmware with version 3.31 driver). The units now work fine with audio and the fireface settings panel pops up and works just fine.
However, total mix FX will not launch and has to be force quit in order to shut down the machine,
the icon just bobs up and down in the doc forever.
Have tried reinstalling the drivers several times. i know that some of the features in Totalmix FX will not be available but I thought the mixer should still work?
had a quick look around to see if someone else had a similar question but couldn't see one, apologies if this has been answered somewhere else, we are a commercial studio and we could do with getting this back up as soon as possible.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
