Topic: HDSPe as HI-Z input for guitar recording

Hello,
I want to use my card incl. the balanced analog breakout cable as a HI-Z input for recording my guitar directly into the card. Is this possible?
Thanks Frank

You need a cable adapter XLR to TS, and an impedance buffer. The latter you most probably own already, as most floor effects work as such, even in bypass mode.

Is there no chance to handle the input device with the driver software such as the babyface?

The Babyface has a dedicated Hi-Z input. What does software help in this case if you don't have such?
