Topic: AES42 on RME mobile solutions (Fireface, Multiface, Digiface)
Now that the Neumann TLM 103 D (digital) is offered for the "beginners" I do wonder if AES42 is going to be implemented in any of RME's future mobile solutions (Fireface, Multiface, Digiface)? I like the idea of an all digital microfone, but the current necessity to use a power plug for the SPDIF/AES adapter makes it less mobile than an analog mic + FF400 combination, which strikes me odd.
