Topic: Routing mic from computer as input for Talkback in TotalMix FX

Hey,
Would anyone be able to help me out here please. I'm trying to route the internal mic from my laptop as the input for Talkback for my Babyface PRO in TotalMix FX but the only options I see are the actual Babyface PRO hardware inputs.

Is there any way to go around this limitation, other than buying another external mic obviously.

TotalMix controls RME devices.

There is a workaround but it is cumbersome and you lose two outputs. See here:

If you want to use the TB function of TM FX you also have to re-route that output signal to a physical input (which is then selected as TB input via F3). Like using SPDIF or ADAT and plugging a loopback cable.
