Yes exactly. More precise, I use it for BOTH ... therefore careful how to implement it

I would not suggest to implement it as a global configuration option in TM's preferences.
This could have too many implications:
- from user perspective: which way to go before starting to spend much work defining snapshots and workspaces
- from programmers perspective: too much impact on code basis and config file formats.
I would implement this as kind of a filter, to filter out, what control room settings shall be ignored
when changing snapshots. I.e.:
- 1 additional Button: to activate or deactivate this filter.
- 1 additional Button: to get a pop-up menue to select what to filter out (volume, speaker B, dim, etc ....)
I would place these 2 buttons maybe to "View Options":
Separator: "C.Room Filter"
Button1/2: "Define" "Enable"
Or alternatively the definition of Filters under TM Options and only one Button to enable / disable.
