Topic: (Solved) UFX 4 mic/preamp question

Hi to all!

I'm sorry but i'm quite new in the pro audio world, but very happy with my UFX! I'm having na issue that i dont understand, when i connect a TRS (with na electric guitar) cable in the front preamps of my ufx, i have no input signal, i've tried to Plug the trs in the balacen inputs in the rear na it went ok. Does the 4 mic/pre work only with XLR and phantom power? why i did not receive áudio input signal whit the TRS cabel. So sorry for my english and my (most likely) dumb question. Cheers!

Of course you can use the Mic 9..12 input channels in the front for guitar.
BUT
1. you need a normal guitar cable (TS not TRS). With Mono Plugs so to say (TRS is for synchronous connections)
2. you need to set the input to "Instrument" in TotalMix FX

I Could not find how to change the mic (1/2 Input) channel to instrument channel.

How I have to do that?
