Topic: Digiface 1 + HDSPe Expresscard – installation problems

Hello,
I try to install a Digiface 1 and a HDSPe Expresscard (second hand ebay …) on my Dell Latitude e6430 with Windows 10. I’ve tried different drivers, but it always install the Multiface and not the Digiface (it shows 8 Adat in/out, 8 analog in/out, SPdif and speakers in/out in the windows control panel and in RME softs), and the Host Error Led stays red on the Digiface.
What’s wrong ? Help please ! Thanks

Did you check the firmware for the ExpressCard? You can try a different FW400 cable, but the problem can be in the Digiface or the ExpressCard. Not easy to find out without using known-good components to swap.

I've tried an installation with an other FW cable, and ... it works ! At once with cubase and the Asio pannel, but with windows showing Multiface in and out (8 analogues in/out).
But today, I've installed Digicheck, and now all the menus shows the 26 tracks Digiface in and out in windows pannels, and in Cubase Asio Pannel.
