Topic: HDSP driver installs outdated certificate

Hey,

did somebody else notice that the last version 4.17 of the RME HDSP driver installs again the outdated trusted publisher certificate as older versions of the driver do?

With driver version 4.17, 4.12, 3.42 the expiry date of the certificate is 20. Jan. 2017

This happens with Windows 7 and 10.

Driver version 4.15 installs a valid certificate.

Unfortunately the provided Microsoft KB patches does not fix it. Also it is not limited to Windows 7 as the same happens with Windows 10. So still an issue and not obsolete. Please assist or answer to email.

So far we are not aware of any issue - nor did you explain one. As long as the driver can be installed and works there is no urgent issue to solve. The older certificate is no error on our side but intentionally - at least at this time.
