Topic: Octamic XTC to UFX Adat connection with long cables.

Hello! I'm gonna to connect pair of XTC's to my UFX with distant placing through long, 15-20m optical adat cables. Will it work?

15m worked for me from UFX / RayDAT to other gear. 20m could be a little bit too long. Try it out.

Otherwise I recommend you to sell UFX, get UFX+, make use of MADI and MIDI over MADI.
These optical fibers can be up to 2km long.

And you can expand in the future up to 8 XTCs or other equipment to ADAT.
