Topic: MADI Router converting 96KHz Formats

Is it possible to use the MADI Router to convert an incoming 96KHz stream in SMUX format to an outgoing stream in High Speed format? I currently do this with a HDSPe MADI FX card and a MADI Bridge to convert between BNC and Fibre both ways on two of the three streams if more than one is required, but there's a lot of hardware, including a computer involved.
I have experimented with the various Matrix Clock settings on our MADI Router and can't find a combination of settings that will make this conversion work. The input inspector sees the incoming stream as 48K and SMUX=? as described in the manual. No matter what settings I apply in the Matrix Clock settings, the destination device (which can only take High Speed format 96K) sees each SMUX'd channel as two separate channels. Any ideas to make this work, or is it not possible?

Thank you
nick

Hi Nick,
that's not possible in the MADI Router. A device like MADIface XT could handle it without the need of an extra computer.
Best regards,
