Topic: Linking faders across outputs

Hi, not sure how to set this up, but I have main outs and a sub output which drives a sub woofer. The two faders are linked so that turning down the main output also turns down the sub output, and this is fine.

Not sure how to set up the routing so that if I change the level on an input channel that is driving both the main and the sub output so that if i change the input level on main it also changes the corresponding level on the sub mix. What is happening is that I turn down the fader on input (on the main output) to 0 and then the audio is still being output to the sub.

Hope that's clear and anyone have any suggestions on how to do this?

thx

Re: Linking faders across outputs

Right click on the main output - Mirror. Right click on the subwoofer - Mirror of output main. Explained in the manual, chapter Doubling the output signal.

Re: Linking faders across outputs

Would it be possible to link Pan knob and Mute and Mono buttons as well? In TotalMix 1.43 this doesn't seem to work (level fader linked only).

Mono is not possible. Mute - just make a Mute group.

Same with Pan I guess?
