As with all the dongles and USB devices one needs to connect to ones computer nowadays, there´s hardly a way to get around USB hubs anymore. And as we all know that´s a minefield. Are there any USB hubs RME recommends? Or would it make technical sense for RME to build their own, which wouldn´t wreak havoc on the realtime performance on computers? That would be great. I for one would be willing to pay a premium for a reliable, pro-audio-ready, USB hub.
Right now I´m still using a Thinkpad and they have docking stations. That works well for now, but I´m considering buying a Scan 3xs system and they don´t have docking options.
