Recently I switched to DAW mode and wonder why i don't get a signal on my headphones.  I assigned Main Out to the corresponding outputs and phones to the corresponding hardware outputs. But i don't get any audio to the headphone outputs unless i create a new aux assigned to head phones output and send all relevant channels to this aux.

Is there another way in this operational mode to just plug the phones and hear all audio which outputs through main out?
