Topic: Fireface UC Crackling when switching to OSX

I've been using a Fireface UC for quite some time on a Windows machine. I recently sold my Windows computer and moved to Mac (OS is on Sierra). I switched the Fireface to AP, installed the latest drivers and upgraded the firmware to the latest version. This has resulted in a lot of crackling and popping in my DAW. I can barely hear the music.

When I listen to a song with just iTunes, there is much less crackling, but it's still there every few seconds or so.

Is there anything I can do to fix this issue? It worked great on Windows so I'm ruling out that it's a hardware issue. I tried downgrading the firmware and then upgrading it to the most recent one. I've made sure the drivers and firmware are up to date. What else can I do?

Re: Fireface UC Crackling when switching to OSX

For Sierra that should be driver v3.01, is that the one you have? Unit connected direct to USB, or with a hub/adapter? Which type of Apple computer (new touchbar Macbook Pro)?
