Topic: Babyface phantom protection?

Got original Babyface. By mistake i've connected its inputs to a synthesizer module. So far so good, but the phantom power was on. Since cables were plugged into synth's mono output, now i worry could have shorting of a ring and sleeve cause any damage to the Babyface phantom supply circuit? Or is there some kind of protection in the Babyface? BTW synth module is ok. The whole event took 3 minutes. I did not plug or unplug anything during that time.

Re: Babyface phantom protection?

The phantom power of any device/manufacturer is by design protected against shorts.
