Topic: Fireface 400 FW TotalmixFx - but no effects??

He there,

so I set up my new computer and installed the latest drivers from RMEs website and I can open Totalmix Fx (Version 1.43 Mac OS X) , everything is working and connected to Cubase 7 but I cannot activate the effect panel.

In the "View Options" in the blue panel at the right I can active (highlight) all the other options (submix, free, RMS, Trim, Names, 2Row), but I cannot activate FX or PostFX...

And next to the each slider I only have the trim and the settings button.

am I missing something?

This product has no FX chip on board.
You would require at minimum Babyface Pro (FX has no dynamic section on board),
but better UCX to have a complete FX implementation on the unit.
