Topic: Clocking Advice? Mixing WC and ADAT

I am doing a major reconfiguration of my studio. I have had multiple ADDA converters, ADI-8 DS, Apogee X16 and Mytek 192X8 ADDA, connected through two PCI-E DifiFace units. I have used the Mytek for clocking as it has 6 WC outs on the unit to star connect other devices.

The DigiFaces are retiring to be replaced by a UFX+ and an ADI-648. I will now be running my converters into the ADI-648 and 6 WC outs will be insufficient.

I like the Mytek clock and am inclined to continue to use it, but I come up a bit short on WC outs to connect all my devices.

One strategy I've considered is clocking all the converters as well as the ADI-648 from the Mytek and then clocking the UFX+ via MADI from the ADI-648.

Any confirmation of this strategy or alternative recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Sure, no problem on the RME side.
