Topic: FIREFACE UFX dropout during LOGIC PRO session

Hello ,

After my last update my UFX goes dead during LOGIC PRO mix session...

To regain acces i have to restart the UFX!

Years of using RME products and never had any problems

What is wrong?

I am using MAC OSX  10.8.5 with LOGIC 10.0.7

i have some screenshots but i don't know how to upload them here...:(

Use i.e. Dropbox. Install the problem. Share the file and copy the URL.
Post the URLs here by clicking to the image icon and paste the URL between the img tags.

Also i forgot to mention I have to restart logic also, because UFx disappears from devices

So here it is, when it crashes ufx pops an goes in to red with no audio .
After I have to do the above operation to have audio.

You need to place the URLs between the image tags "[img]URL[/img]"
And manually to change dl=0 to dl=1 at the end of the URL.

Update of what ?

What do you mean by "goes dead" ?
Can you describe to someone not sitting besides you what happens exactly ?

Sorry for being so vague...
I'm kinda pissed of

Ok so I did a firmware update for the UFx, the last one posted on the official page, after that update ufx crashes randomly in logic x

Basically during sessions I hear a loud pop , daw meter and master out goes in to red and No sound anymore .

I have to restart logic and the ufx to gain control over UFx

Never had this issues, using ufx for years. This is the first time when I encounter such problems sad
