Topic: EQing for monitor mix

Hi There,

I think this is kind of a newbie question, but since Google wasn't much of a help, I going to try it here...

Is it possible to have different eq settings for one input on several outputs?

What I want to do is:

I want two different eq settings for a stereo signal on input 1/2 of my fireface ucx. one setting for the headphone out, and one for the main out. right now, when i turn on the eq on input 1/2 it is global on all outputs. Is there a way to make this behavior independent?

thanks for your help!

Re: EQing for monitor mix

Route the stereo inputs to both outputs, then use the EQ of each output.

If you need help with routing, then work through my primer here:

Or also look at the RME tutorials on youtube:

Re: EQing for monitor mix

thanks for your reply!

the thing is, I don't want to eq the whole output. Just the input, so that other things that go through the same output aren't affected by the eq.

See it like this: I want a monitor mix at the headphone out, and I want a FOH mix at the main out, which is completely independent from my monitor mix (not just the levels but also EQing of every single input channel).

Use loopback interface
