When googling I notice a comment that these phones needed to be connected to the speaker outputs of hifi amps.
Can you deliver some technical data about these phones ?

The K1000 can not be driven sufficiently from most phones amps because it needs a too high output level (not power). It is about 25 dB less sensitive than 'normal' headphones. Even the 28 dBu / 20 V that the ADI-2 provides in balanced mode bring the K1000 only to medium volume with no headroom left for peaks. So while it will work the reached volume might not be enough.
