Hi!
I recently updated the mac at high sierra after years that I did not follow the upgrades. And now my Fireface 800 is no longer working..
I have installed the latest drivers from here https://www.rme-audio.de/en/downloads/d … reface.php
The Fireface Settings app crashes when I try to open it and the mac does not recognize it.
What I have to do?
please help me I do not know what to do

Might be interesting as well, which MAC do you have ?
And eventually .. maybe you need to upgrade the firmware of the FF800 as well ?

which upgrade? I tried MacPro Audio update 1.1 but the system doesn't support it
How can I upgrade the firmware ?

Sorry, then somebody with Apple background needs to help you, this was just "best guess".

I did a clean install of High Sierra and Fireface 800 now works 
Which means reinstalling all plugins, setting up iTunes with my 50+ Playlists ...

sorry I'm not understanding. How can I reinstall the driver ? they don't work
and then should I follow the Approved Kernel Extension Loading guide?
I'm not very good with English ..that guide seems to me difficult !!
Now would have been a very good occasion to tell with which language you feel more comfortably...

reinstall driver what does it mean? just delete fireface settings and TotalMix apps ? and then reinstall ?
Simply install the driver again without deleting anything.
in my system preference is already
Allow apps downloaded from *App Store and identified developers
and I tried to reinstall drivers several times but the app crashes every time

OK GREAT! IT WORKS
I explain how I did to those who like me are not good with English and with computer :-D
open System Preferences > Security & Privacy and leave open
then run fireface app
on the System Preferences screen allow loading of rme apps
reboot
and it works

And if you would i.e. speak German I could eventually have helped you to translate if this is not too much of text / work.
