Topic: Fireface 800 connection

Hi, I am planning to buy fireface 800, can someone tell me how to connect box with PC that does not have firewire onboard. What is the best firewire card to buy that will work best with fireface 800, and do I need 400 speed or 800 ? Is texas instruments chip firewire card still ok or there is some better card that you will recommand ?

You dont necessarily need Fw 800, you can also use an Fw400 interface to connect it.
In another thread somebody had issues with Fw800 cards on his PC.
Avoid a Fw400 card with the TI chipset XIO2200A, its buggy.
I made good experience with this card using an UFX.

Thats what I thought, texas instruments chip is still the one to pick.
