Topic: Gain Inst

I'm UFX+ User.

When pushing Inst Button of TotalMix FX, the gain knob can not be adjusted under numerical 8 displayed.
I want to know the reason.

Its documented in the handbook, chapter 38.1, that the Inputs 9..12 have a different gain range:

75dB if you use the input for Mics (0..75)
42db if you use the input as Instr Input (8..50)

38.1 Analog
Microphone In 9-12, front
As AD, but:
• Gain range: 75 dB

Instrument In 9-12, front
As AD, but:
• Gain range: 42 dB
