Topic: Firmware mismatch Fireface 800 with High Sierra,

Hi smile

I'm trying to get my Fireface 800 to work with High Sierra and Ableton, and I really need your help.
I've read some posts about similar problems, but I can't seem to find a solution.

I'm using a Firewire 400 to 800 cable, and the a FF800 to Thunderbolt adapter.
The Mac identifies the Interface, I see the TotalMix and everything.
But when I try to record the sound is totally distorted.

I tried to download the latest driver and firmware from RME, but I get a message about Firmware mismatch and that I need version 2.77 or later. But when I search I only seem to find 1.69/2.70 for OS X. I'm not sure if the mismatch is the only problem, but I guess this could be it.

Could you please help me with this? Really want to start recording, but I'm spending all my energy on this smile

All the best,
Jacob
