Topic: Rme 9632 and audient id22

Hi, someone could help me to connect the 2 inputs of the audient ID22 via adat to my rme 9632. I want to use the 9632 and just use the microphone and DI of the ID22. Now it is connected the Adat out of the ID22 to the Adat in of RME and the Adat out of RME to the Adat IN of the ID22 But I have no signal in the totalmix. Maybe there is better configurations? Thanks a lot

Did you change your HDSP SPDIF input and output settings to optical

Yes. I have signal in the mixer of the ID22 but not in the total mix.

Your ID22 is set for ADAT mode on Optical I/O, while the 9632 is set for SPDIF Mode.

In the HDSPe Settings, change SPDIF In to "COAX", and for SPDIF Out, nothing checked.

Thanks for the replay, but i have no spdif. Just a toslink from out adat rme to adat in Id22. What i need to change?

As above: In the HDSPe Settings, change SPDIF In to "COAX", and for SPDIF Out, nothing checked. Then your RME is working in ADAT mode and matches the ID22 settings.

The optical I/O on both units can alternately be used for Optical SPDIF (as on a home theater receiver) or ADAT.

Thanks. With your point i guess the check box  adat sync in rme  and green the light  status in id22 control panel. But no signal in totalmix yet. Please, watch the photos for help me

Exit the old TotalMix, remove it from Autostart, then reboot and do a Total Reset in TotalMix FX. Might not address the current problem but is necessary anyway.

I did it and no signal anyway. If i use the analog inputs of rme i have signal, but no adat signal

You could easily plug the ADAT out cable of the 9632 back into the 9632, send something out from ADAT via TM FX and see it return in the inputs. Then you know you missed some setting in the Audient.
