Topic: Help How to direct monitor my microphone

I'm a complete newbie...just brought the rme babyface pro, connected my condenser microphone to it as well as my headphones.
Switched on 48V on totalmix fx, I can hear audio ok on youtube etc but cannot hear my microphone (Direct Monitoring)

Please help

Watched the videos and read through the posts, still no sound from my microphone, do you have a specific step by step?

Ensure TM FX is in submix mode.
Every output is a submix.
Now click to the phones output.
Then raise/lowe the faders of HW inputs and SW playback channels as you like to create your submix.
HW inputs (top row) are the inputs at the device.
SW playback channels (middle row) is the sound coming from PC (DAW or other applications).
Thats it.

That basic principle of routing I explained in my guide plus something more on top.
