Topic: TM 1.50(3) TotalMix Fader are not properly resized

Hi,

because of a high amount of channels I decided to create a Snapshot named "COMPACT",
where all channels have the compact (narrow) size, see screenshot 1.

When recalling my other snapshots, they do not show up with the proper channel size anymore, see screenshot 2.

To repeat:
1. all channels have normal size create a routing, save it to snapshot 1
2. change all channels to narrow size, save it to snapshot 2
3. recall snapshot 1 and some of the channels now stay in narrow format.


This compact view has been saved to snapshot "Mix 7":

After that I recalled snapshot 1 "ADI-2 Pro" or other, and now they keep to look wired, not as saved with normal sized channels.

To cure the issue I restored backup from "Workspace Quick Select".

As it takes much time to correct this (esp. for a high amount of channels) it would be nice if this could be fixed.

Those states are stored in the Channel Layout.

They are also kept with normal Snapshots as long as channels don't change from Stereo to Mono or vice versa.

Hi Matthias, thanks for your explanation.

But if you say, that its also stored in snapshots, then I fear there might be an issue. All Snapshots ("Mix2" .. "Mix8") were a clone of "Mix 1". So they are the same, only routing is different.

I only narrowed all channels and stored this separately to Mix 7 (Pic 1). Then the issue arose when simply recalling Mix 1 (Pic 2/3). There is no change from Stereo to Mono or vice versa.

From your description this should not be the case.

EDIT:

If there is some time I would be glad if this could be solved. Otherwise I know now from the other thread how to quickly narrow and expand the channel size by clicking CTRL-arrow on the bottom of a channel.
