Topic: 2 Raydats / Totalmix question

Hi,

I'm thinking about adding a second Raydat, but have a question regarding Totalmix.

I understand that I will have to use 2 totalmix windows.

My question is whether the two windows are totally separate for all purposes? My guess is yes.

So if I'm making a headphone mix am I limited to only those channels that show in that window, or is there a way to include channels from the other window?

yes, routing is only possible within a TM instance

the 2 cards need to be synched and both need to use the same ASIO buffersize

BTW .. these cards also have an internal SPDIF connection which can be used to synchronize multiple cards.
So that there is no need for an external connection for syncing purposes, see handbook.

I think I did read that it comes with the cable. I'll probably order my second card this evening.
