Apologies if I'm opening old wounds here but I can't seem to find a definitive answer to this.

I want to finally upgrade my MacBook after having put it off for a year. I currently run a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013) with my 3 Fireface 800 units connected via a Thunderbolt to Firewire 800 adapter. The Fireface 800s are then subsequently linked to each other with Firewire cables.

This setup has worked fine but as I'm considering the mac upgrade I was wondering if anyone has a similar setup that they confirm is working?

I was considering an OWC Thunderbolt 3 dock with a firewire 800 port - anybody using this in similar circumstances?

Any help would be gratefully received!
