Topic: Rme uc no midi

Hi guys

Last January i bought the RME uc interface . Since I already had an USB midi interface I didn't use the midi i/o of the rme .

Last days I tried to connect a midi keyboard to the rme , but the midi i/o does not appear in the preferences of my daw (ableton live ), like the other midi in and outs.

I have the latest drivers , should I do something that I'm missing ?

Is there a dedicated midi driver for the rme? ( I searched in the rme site but nothing is there )

Any help would be appreciated

Update
I installed the midi remote pkg and after a lot of tries the midi set up of OS X recognized the sound card as USB 1 and USB 2 and I was able to use them in ableton
But after restarting my computer the next day they were missing again
Tried to do the same (install the midi remote pkg ) but to no avail
So back to point zero , but I know there isn't a hardware problem , probably a software bug
Anybody's  help much appreciated

Is anyone here  using a uc fireface under OS X 10.10?
