Often when I start up my computer I find that the level meters in TotalMix are frozen and that the Babyface isn't responding. I then have to unplug it and plug it in again. Why does this happen?
Is this after a shutdown or a standby? Use HWinfo to check the USB ports, maybe you are using an internal hub on the port where the Babyface is connected?
it's always after a shutdown. I don't use a hub, it's plugged straight into one of the USB ports in the computer.
The computer may use an internal hub. Many modern mainboard are built with hubs to save on copper lines for direct USB to southbridge connections.
ok, so is there anything I can do about it?
