Topic: UFX+ via Thunderbolt 1

I‘m on the brink to place an order for the UFX+. However it‘s unclear to me whether it works on the Thunderbolt 1 (10 GBit/s) on my mid-2012 MacBook Pro.

The spec say "Thunderbolt" in some places "Thunderbolt 2". Are there any limits when hooked up to a TB1 port?

Thanks for any helpful hints.

The UFX+ is Thunderbolt 1, compatible to Thunderbolt 2, and has been tested with said MacBook.
