7nm, tough. Am curious what Intels response to this will be.

Interesting is backward compatibility: "...the processor is for the AM4 socket, given that AMD has previously said that it intends to keep backwards compatibility for several generations. That will mean that this CPU will work in current 300 and 400-series AMD motherboards .."

I hope that some new mainboards will be released with thunderbolt support.

With AMD you even have the option to equip the PC with ECC RAM.
