I am just using the Babyface pro for Stereo out so far.
I want to record vocals. I have a Tascam DR 40 as well as a Sennheiser SD 421 - II. I would go into the xlr in of the babyface with the sennheiser and into the line in of the babyface with the line out of the tascam.
1. Not exactly a rme question but what mic would you recommend or should I record both and hear afterwards?
2. How do the effects of the promix work? Can I apply EQ and Reverb so it is just audible on the mix at the phones out and record the dry signal?
3. Is there a short written tutorial on how to use the total mix and what setting are recommended for vocals?
