Topic: Any way to input 5.1 via optical cable?

Hi,

I'm connecting a 5.1 system to my FF800 via optical cable and it seems I can only input the first two channels... which becomes very problematic at least when the center channel is used and then lost in translation.

Am I missing a feature or the signal is irremediably restricted to the first two channels only?

The FF800 can not decode DTS/AC3 signals...

None. That requires a special chip which you usually find in HiFi AV Receivers.
