Topic: ADI-2 Pro FS Overload/Short Detected message

Hello,
my ADI-2 Pro FS shows a error message "overload/short detected" after about two hours of use.
The unit becomes very hot especially near PH3/4 jack output. The front panel becomes so hot to be almost untouchable.
If I turn off ADI-2 for about 3 minutes and then turn it on again the system works normally for about 20-60 minutes.

My setup: win10 > RayDAT > AES > ADI-2 Pro FS PH 3/4 > Audio Technica ATH-M50x or Sennheiser HD600

last firmware & drivers installed

Overheating problem?
Faulty unit?
Any advice?

Send it in for a check, with a detailed error description. What you describe points to a defective headphone channel.
