Topic: Fixing Noise on Analog Inputs

With my HDSP 9632 PCI card I'm getting significant background noise on my two analog xlr inputs. I've tracked it to the card as it persists when hooked up to different equipment/cables. Normally I've been using the digital input but I'd like to solve this issue if possible.

What can I do with the card to try to fix the issue?

Disconnect Pin 1 on the male connectors. Try with one cable first if that works or not.

Are you sure the noise is not from the source? And how much is it in TM FX input level meter, RMS value?

Problem fixed. Was cables after all, not the card, apologies. The cables were fine in themselves, but too long to avoid picking up some interference.
