Topic: OSC /setBankStart on Babyface OG possible bug

Hi 

I've done quite a bit of testing and I might have it wrong but pretty sure this is a bug.  Using OSC /setBankStart selects the wrong hardware output channel on original Babyface.  On the same PC, HDSPe Madiface TMFX /setBankStart works correctly.  On Babyface TMFX, it's like  /setBankStart n is interpreted as  /setBankStart n+3.

For instance on a total reset Babyface TMFX, the command sequence:

/2/busOutput 1.0
/setBankStart 2.0
/2/cue 1.0

...should give me Cue on AS 1/2 (actually the AS 1 but we are in stereo output channels).

What it actually gives me is Cue on ADAT 3/4 (actually the ADAT 4 but we are in stereo).

The order of the hardware output channels for MIDI and OSC is independent from what one sees in TotalMix FX, for example when Phones is shifted to the Control Room Section. The Channel Layout dialog gives the basic order.  The first channels are 0, not 1,  so it looks like it does what it should do...

Again, I might be wrong, but...  I still think there might be an issue.  I have nothing assigned to the Control Room. I understand channel n in OSC starts from 0.

For example, /setBankStart 0.0 + /2/cue 1.0 activates Cue in AS 1/2 (third output pair).

If I set the Hardware Output channels to be mono channels, all functions as expected - no issue. 

With stereo channels, issues as described in my OP.

Please try version 1.63 beta 1. We think we found and fixed it. This issue was indeed limited to the old Babyface.

That works all great now, thanks for supporting the minutiae of the old Babyface!

The other thing I notice is that an out of range bank number like /setBankStart 100.0 selects/deselects the last valid bank/channel, but I would call that a feature not a bug.
