Zu TM FX
Klar, die SW kann eine Menge. Aber die Software ist erstklassig designed und logisch aufgebaut, einfach auf den Einsatzzweck hin optimiert. Man muss wirklich nur wenige Grundzüge der Bedienung erlernen, danach kann man bereits wunderbar damit arbeiten, ohne jeden Kniff genau zu kennen.
Am besten ist es, sich die RME Videos anzusehen, weil man dann einen sehr anschaulichen Überblick über die Grundbedienung, aber auch die Möglichkeiten bekommt. Auch hier hat RME saubere Arbeit geleistet, die Videos sind in einzelne Themengebiete aufgesplittet und der Stoff wird auf den Punkt vermittelt, so dass die Videos auch gar nicht lange dauern.
Danach würde ich meinen Step by Step Primer anschauen, bzw umsetzen.
Darin u.a. enthalten, die "wenigen" aber "wichtigen" Grundzüge der Bedienung und ein einfaches Beispiel setup,
das alles umfasst, was man für den Anfang wissen sollte.
Danach solltest Du auf jeden Fall auch das Handbuch zu Rate ziehen. Einfach Acrobat Reader anwerfen und mit Stichwortsuche die richtige Stelle finden. Das geht idR Ruck Zuck. So mache ich das immer, wenn ich hier anderen Leuten helfen möchte. Da kann man eine Menge an nützlichen Infos rausziehen.
Zu Snapshots und Workspaces
In Kürze, folge meiner Schritt für Schritt Anleitung, dann hast Du eigentlich ein kleines Rundum Sorglos Paket.
Siehe dazu am besten auch Handbuch Kapitel: 21.5.2 Snapshots - Groups
HIer nochmal ausführlicher, ich habe das folgendermaßen verstanden:
Wenn Du in TM FX das Routing rechts auf den 8 Snapshot Positionen speicherst, dann wird das nur temporär gespeichert.
Du musst schon den gesamten Workspace sichern (TM FX: File -> Save Workspace As)
damit Fensterposition, Fenstergröße, Anzahl geöffneter Fenster, sichtbare EQs oder Settings, Scrollzustände, Presets etc gesichert werden.
Das inkludiert auch die bis zu 8 Routings, die Du rechts in den 8 Snapshot Plätzen sichern kannst.
Zusätzlich dazu kannst Du auch das gegenwärtige Routing einzeln in Dateien speichern (TM FX: File -> Save Snapshot As).
Dadurch ist es möglich, dass Du beliebig viele Routings unter beliebigen Dateinamen auf Deiner Festplatte wie eine beliebig große Library vorhalten kannst, um sie bei Bedarf wieder laden und einem der 8 Snapshot Plätze wieder zuweisen zu können.
In der Regel brauchst Du natürlich nicht so viele Routings ... und es reicht völlig, in TM FX rechts die 8 Snapshot Plätze mit den wichtigsten Routings zu belegen und als Workspace zusammen mit Fensterpositionen etc zu sichern.
Zusätzlich dazu hast Du die Möglichkeit, die Workspaces in 30 sogenannten Quick Workspace Select Slots zu sichern.
Stell Dir vor, Du hast verschiedene projektorientierte Setups, mit unterschiedlicher Benamsung der Kanäle, vielleicht anderer Routings und "what not". Dann kannst Du bis zu 30 solch unterschiedlicher Szenarien in diese Quick Slots sichern, um sie schnell von dort aus abrufen zu können. Das ist die Alternative dazu, einen Workspace vom Dateisystem / von Festplatte aus zu laden.
