Topic: UFX Continued Support?

Hello
How long can we expect continued driver and software support for the original UFX?

I’m on a budget and looking for a used one for my small home studio but do not want to invest in something that will soon be unsupported.

Look at these two drivers for the UFX, what other devices they support:
- driver_fw_win_3125.zip for  Fireface 400, 800, 802, UCX, UFX
- driver_usb_win_1168.zip for  Fireface UFX, 802, UCX, UC und Babyface/Pro

The driver support for firewire and USB for the UFX will most likely continue, because UCX and 802
are not so long yet in the market compared to FF400/800.

And the most recent versions of TM FX are bundled with the driver ..

RME supports their products for a longer time compared to other competitors.

Look alone the backport of TM FX (rewrite of TM software) to devices back to 2001.
